Fujitsu GMS

The following is an example of work Justin Souter has done in the past.

1.1              At the beginning of 2008, Justin worked on an internal requirements capture exercise, to specify conceptual requirements for a Fujitsu Global Management system.

1.2              Justin’s understanding of the strategic uses of technology, combined with a focus on business benefits, helped the internal Stakeholders understand the importance of an integrated programme of business change to support any tool implementation.

1.3              Activities included:

1.3.1        Understanding the subject matter and scope; clarifying same with Project Owner

1.3.2        Interviewing stakeholders to gain their input and establish set of requirements

1.3.3        Discuss draft requirements with Project Owner and Project Sponsor

1.4              Outcomes / How did you make a difference?

1.4.1        High level properties / characteristics created and agreed for GMS.

1.4.2        Understood the organisational and personal dynamics at play and that the unspoken desire of the stakeholders to improve collaboration was a key implicit driver of the assignment.

1.4.3        Synthesised input from two different workstreams, thus creating buy-in and improving collaboration

1.4.4        Learning point was to challenge Project Owner re scope and direction.
