Introduction

Working with Fujitsu involved a lot of travel, but happily these two assignments meant that Justin was able to conduct them in the North East

EDRM Procurement

Justin worked with a Further Education college in the NE England to help procure an Electronic Document and Records Management system.

Activities

  • Working with the Customer to define their Information Architecture
  • Assessing their organisational readiness and enterprise technical architecture
  • Procurement consultancy relating to the generating an ITT.

Outcomes / difference

  • Instrumental in creating an agreed statement of requirements for EDRM system.
  • Ensuring that the EDRM system fitted in with existing IT Estate of College, to maximise information sharing.
  • Provided key input into ITT.

Smartcard

At the same time, he worked on a Smartcard roll-out in NE England:

  • Chairing Project Boards,
  • Advising on Data Protection issues,
  • Generating the card design,
  • And supporting the card provider to meet very tight delivery deadlines.
