EDRM procurement and Smartcard roll-out
The following is an example of work Justin Souter has done in the past.
1.1 Before that, he worked with a Further Education college in the NE England to help procure an Electronic Document and Records Management system.
1.2 Activities:
1.2.1 Working with the Customer to define their Information Architecture
1.2.2 Assessing their organisational readiness and enterprise technical architecture
1.2.3 Procurement consultancy relating to the generating an ITT.
1.3 Outcomes / difference
1.3.1 Instrumental in creating an agreed statement of requirements for EDRM system.
1.3.2 Ensuring that the EDRM system fitted in with College’s existing IT infrastructure, to maximise information sharing.
1.3.3 Provided key input into ITT.
1.3.4 Handed over to Customer to finalise tender and conduct procurement.
2. Smartcard
2.1 At the same time, he worked on a Smartcard roll-out in NE England:
2.1.1 Chairing Project Boards,
2.1.2 Advising on Data Protection issues
2.2 Outcomes / difference
2.2.1 Helped generating the card design,
2.2.2 Supported the card provider to meet very tight delivery deadlines.
