Technology Strategy Board – potential sources of funding

Introduction

Last week I attended a presentation by the Technology Strategy Board about two competitions they are running. It was the morning before Thinking Digital, and included an enjoyable presentation by Ewan McIntosh (more details at Partnering for Innovation: NoTosh helping launch £18m digital fund).

I thought it would be useful to reproduce the related material here, for those of you out there looking for start-up funding etc.

Please find attached details of two competitions for grant funding that have just been launched which may be of interest to your organisations:

1) £18m – Collaboration across Digital Industries (Opens 14^th June for fasttrack projects and 12^th July for larger projects)

2)  £5m – Metadata: Increasing the Value of Digital Content (Opens 13^th September)

Application is by dedicated application form. Further information on how to apply and guidelines for completing the application form can be found at http://www.innovateuk.org/competitions/.
