Ear to the Groundswell: Get Satisfaction trial

by Justin Souter on February 2, 2009

Improving what SCL does, and how we do it, is of paramount importance – because we can better serve our Customers.

Getting feedback from interested parties is vital, and can help set up a positive feedback loop. Using online tools to do this has two functions:

  • To demonstrate / experiment with these tools, so this knowledge can be used on Customer engagements
  • Create interaction with you lovely people out there

Get Satisfaction is what I’m going for, although I’m also aware of User Voice. According to the GS people:

Get Satisfaction is a direct connection between people and companies that fosters problem-solving, promotes sharing, and builds up relationships.

Thousands of companies use this neutral space to support customers, exchange ideas, and get feedback about their products and services. Get Satisfaction is open, transparent, and free.

You’re free to ask, free to answer, and free to start a new conversation.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate: companies, employees, customers — anyone with an opinion, an answer, or something to say.

Tools like Get Satisfaction quite probably seem like a gimmick right now, but I feel they have legs and so wanted to see how this could be used in practice.

Please still feel free to use the contact us form , but if you’d like to give more detailed feedback, please use the form below it – thanks!

btw, I’d be surprised if there was a torrent of feedback, but it may well grow with time & your help. :-)
