I agree that we don't need to tag it to a Codeworks event, but I think that Codeworks or the DigitalCity and other organisations may be a good way to attract people and drive support. Perhaps local companies could offer sponsorship in kind e.g. a room/catering (Mr. Coxon that was aimed at you initially!:P). Great idea Justin – especially if everyone takes responsibility for driving the group forward.

Hi Justin – I'd certainly be interested in getting involved, but I'm not sure there's any huge benefit it connecting it to Codeworks events. Sometimes it's good to have another event in the calendar, and not everyone is a member of Codeworks.

This sounds interesting. I'd certainly come along before the newcastle codeworks events. The connecting it to a blog bit would work well. Ps like the harry tuttle movie clip.
